Emirates suspends check-in at Dubai International today

Dubai-based Emirates airline is suspending check-in for passengers departing Dubai International Airport (DXB) from 8:00 am on April 17 until midnight, due to operational challenges caused by bad weather and road conditions, the airline has said. 
 
Dubai International Airline has faced flight disruptions due to the unprecedented heacy rains in Dubai during the past few days.
 
Affected customers can contact their booking agent or visit https://emirat.es/support for rebooking, the airline said in a 'weather update' on its X account. 
 
Passengers arriving in Dubai and already in transit will continue to be processed for their flights. Customers can expect delays to departures and arrivals, and are advised to check the latest flight schedules on https://emirat.es/flightstatus , it said
 
"We sincerely apologise for the inconvenience caused. Emirates is working hard to restore our scheduled operations, and our teams will provide all possible support to affected customers. Please DM us if you require any assistance," the update on X said. - TradeArabia News Service
