The region's biggest sports tournament for the travel trade, TBO, concluded this weekend in Dubai.

More than 30 sports loving travel agents competed in various cricket and football matches to win the TBO trophy along with several other prizes including free air and hotel vouchers.

The championship for the cricket tournament was clinched by musafir.com, while Dadabhai Travel team were the winners in the football match. 

The event was sponsored by Royal Caribbean, Experience Oman & TBO Academy along with Hilton, Raffles The Palm Dubai, Jazeera Airways, Philippine Airlines, Air Canada & Travel & Tourism News (TTN) Middle East.

In her comments, Kim Thomson, the publishing director of Media sponsor TTN Middle East said: "There was a great buzz on the pitches and off where Royal Caribbean had their ICON lounge giving players and their families a place to chill and play board and other games in between matches. Congratulations to the winners and all the players."
