Harbour Gate welcomes Mega Mart as new Tenant

Harbour Gate, the commercial and retail centre of the Bahrain Financial Harbour masterplan, will be home to a new Mega Mart Express store.

Financial Center Development Company B.S.C.(c), owner of Harbour Towers - East and West and Harbour Gate, and Mega Mart signed a lease agreement which let the retail chain operate a new Mega Mart Express store on the second floor of Harbour Gate opening on October 26.

“Harbour Gate hosts the Bahrain Bourse, the Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Tourism, the Sustainability Authority, including the Bahrain Investors Centre and the Saudi visa services centre, a Bahrain Post office, various professional services firms as well as retail, banking and F&B units. It is an ideal location for a successful and popular retail chain such as Mega Mart and we are delighted to welcome them as our new tenant. With Mega Mart Express we add an important service to our developing social hub and lifestyle destination within the Bahrain Financial Harbour masterplan to serve the needs of employees, tenants, visitors and residents who will be living in Harbour Heights and Harbour Row”, says Angus Campbell, CEO of Financial Center Development Company B.S.C.(c).

Speaking on the occasion, Hashem Ahmed Jaafar, Director Mega Mart Group, says: “Harbour Gate located at the heart of Bahrain Financial Harbour masterplan is the perfect place to launch our fourteenth store. We are well-known for our variety of fresh breads, pastries, salads and our own in-house production line of traditional Indian sweets and snacks. The new Mega Mart Express offers a Coffee Shop, bakery with fresh breads, cakes and pastries, fresh counters such as fresh juices, salad bar with 36 different varieties of salad, cut fruit salads and hot food, including Indian, Chinese, Filipino and continental dishes. The store is located on the second floor at Harbour Gate within the Bahrain Financial Harbour masterplan, easily accessible from King Faisal Highway, opposite Bab Al Bahrain. Visitor parking is available. Mega Mart Express is open daily from 7 am to 7 pm.
